Completion of Lifting of Core Turbine Components for Unit 4

In January 2025, the 2×350MW power plant expansion project in Masinloc, the Philippines, achieved a key milestone. Three core turbine components of Unit 4, namely the generator stator, 333-ton low-pressure cylinder, and high & intermediate-pressure cylinder, were successfully lifted into place, marking a new phase for turbine installation.

As critical heavy equipment of the turbine unit, these components feature large size and heavy weight, which impose stringent requirements on lifting plans and site management. Constrained by site conditions overseas, the project team formulated special plans in advance. Coordinated work was carried out between Chinese lifting crews and local staff with full-time safety supervision and standardized operation, ensuring accurate positioning of heavy equipment.

The successful lifting demonstrates the team’s capability in heavy-lift construction and paves the way for subsequent works including boiler hydrostatic test, piping installation and unit commissioning. Adhering to high-standard localized collaborative construction, the project team steadily advances the overseas thermal power project to guarantee scheduled unit commissioning.
