Unit 5 Boiler 400kg Hydrostatic Test Completed

     In January 2026, the 400kg hydrostatic test of Boiler No.5 at the Masinloc Power Plant Expansion Project in the Philippines was successfully accomplished in one single attempt.

     This high-pressure test serves as a critical acceptance procedure to examine the pressure-bearing capacity of boiler heating surfaces and welding workmanship with extremely stringent construction standards. Chinese and local teams collaborated closely, accurately controlling pressure parameters throughout the whole process and completing the pressure test acceptance in full compliance with relevant specifications.

     The smooth passing of this test lays a solid foundation for the subsequent finishing work of Boiler No.5 and unit commissioning. The project team will continue to strictly observe safety and quality bottom lines, steadily push forward the construction of dual units, and fully guarantee the scheduled commercial operation of the project.
